Simon initially gained a BA majoring in legal theory and political science, followed by a postgraduate LLB degree from Rhodes University.  He completed his articles in early 2021, having focused on commercial contracting with a boutique law firm in Cape Town.

Simon comes from a family of lawyers; his father and brother are both advocates and he's spent his life around 'lawyer talk' across the dinner table. Whilst he loves the law he has been keen to break the mould and push the boundaries of how commercial contracting is practiced – Simon is deeply invested in the idea of efficiency and continuous improvement, and eager to work on ways to elevate the client experience. At Radiant Simon is focused on streamlining the management of commercial contracts for global financial services institutions.
