Linda graduated from the University of Cape Town with an LLB in 2015, which she followed with a semester studying International Law and Foreign Direct Investment at Cornell. Two stretches as an intern with US law firms in Chicago and California were put to good use when Linda went on to complete her articles with a leading South African corporate and commercial law firm.
Following a period as an associate attorney specialising in banking and commercial matters, Linda became Head of Banking Litigation for a Pretoria law firm. She took particular responsibility for client relationships and process improvements.
Linda is a creative problem-solver with a passion for shaping the future of the legal profession. She is also deeply engaged in the push for access to justice, the provision of academic support for underrepresented groups, and empowering young people to meet their purpose and potential. Linda sits on the global board of directors for NGO I Am, We Are, and is a mentor and academic coach for the Dell Young Leaders programme.
At Radiant Linda works across the contract lifecycle delivering managed legal services to global organisations, and is focused on how to deliver efficient solutions and straightforward commercial support to meet business priorities.
Linda says, “Radiant Law’s forward-thinking and refreshingly different (and necessary) approach to doing law is what drew me to the firm. The organisation is also engaged in a number of initiatives aimed at driving positive change in the local community and genuinely prioritises its team members’ personal development – these values closely align with my own.
“As a part of the team, I am continuously inspired by the unrelenting commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement - this isn’t just another catchphrase at Radiant, these are values that find expression every day and in everything we do - from harnessing the power of technology to providing seamless support to our clients’ contractual needs to adopting bold and unconventional strategies to anticipate and effectively respond to clients’ needs. It's exciting to be part of a team that's leading the charge in modernising the way law is practiced."
