ABOUT
A Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, Language and Linguistics was the first step for Chrissie in gaining an appreciation for the way in which a contemporary economy contracts and transacts, and led her to go on and complete an LLB at the University of Cape Town. Chrissie then took her articles with a law firm focusing on corporate and commercial matters, and was admitted as an attorney in 2019.
At Radiant Chrissie is focused on contracting lifecycle management for a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data organisation. She handles the drafting and negotiation of contacts as well as building straightforward and robust processes to ensure the business can transact at pace. Chrissie is a creative thinker who is focused on solutions that create strong long-term relationships.
Chrissie says, “I was drawn by Radiant’s youthful energy and appreciation for “newness”, technology and innovation all while still being respectful of the old tried and tested principles of legal contracting. Contracts are the start and end of business, so being able to reduce that to writing as precisely and succinctly as possible is gratifying, and really allows me to marry my two interests of language and law.”
