We understand that COVID-19 (coronavirus) is creating many personal and business challenges and that in-house legal teams will be under increasing pressure.
It’s important to us that we meet needs as they change with the business landscape. So, we want to briefly outline some of the measures we have in place to ensure that we remain in the best possible position to mitigate any disruption and continue supporting organisations like yours to create, negotiate and optimise your commercial contracts:
- We have already closed our offices and asked everyone across our organisation to work from home until further notice.
- Remote working has long been part of our standard model and we have a comprehensive business continuity plan which includes strict data security policies. All team members have laptops with documents synchronised locally to ensure that everyone can continue to work securely and efficiently from any location.
- We have a broad ‘pool’ approach to resourcing which has always enabled us to flex with team member availability and client requirements at any time. We are also working with additional lawyers across our wider network who have supported us for some time and can provide immediate ‘hit the ground running’ top up resourcing if required.
